There is no dearth of rivals like Boot Camp, VMware Fusion, and VirtualBox out there, but Parallels is the preferred solution for folks who don’t necessarily dabble in demanding apps that are ecosystem-specific or have a niche workflow. However, the promise of Windows 11 even before the update was released was met with a bit of skepticism, especially at the pace at which it can be delivered. The latter started rolling out in the last week of June with all the aesthetic bells and whistles of Microsoft’s fresh take on the Windows OS.
Just over one month ago, the company announced that it was planning to bring Windows 11 experience to the Mac and that it was awaiting Microsoft to release the first preview build of Windows 11.
Parallels, one of the biggest names in the domain of desktop virtualization software, has announced that version 17 of its desktop client will support Windows 11 and is also going to improve the performance on M1 Macs.
